Oh yeah, NEVER buy from Firstline Security out of Colorado. They take your monthly payments, stick you with a system that doesn’t work, leave you with a defunct phone line and tell you to upgrade if you want it fixed or pay over $900 to have a non-functioning system removed! We’re still fighting with them to fix our system. Nice gig if you can get it!
We are locked into an agreement that they won’t release us from even though the monitor company they go thru has admitted they can not see our system. So stopping payment would only send our account to collections. Not a smart move.

I know that I can have the car towed to the nearest dealer( 30 miles away) and have a key made & programmed for the car if the code was stored when the car was manufactured. That process would cost more than $100. This car is used as a newspaper route car. I don’t really care about the sescurity system–I don’t need it. My fondest hope is that the security system can be disabled. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

There are existing door alarms and a previous system with two keypads, but it has not been turned on and I’d imagine a new company would probably want to rewire everything, especially since the windows have just been replaced.
